Our conference planning team chose to do a dinner river cruise and went with Gateway Clipper as our provider. They did an amazing job and the staff there were so helpful in coordinating the event! We had about 155 people on the cruise and so we chose to cruise on the Empress boat. The Empress was really spacious and had a lot of room to roam around and explore about the ship. The weather was perfect, so it was really nice to be up on the top deck and enjoy a beautiful sunset on the river. The food was amazing and delicious! We had an assortment of food types and there was plenty for all to have. The crew took very good care of us and offered us drinks, waited on us and made sure that we all had a great time. Overall, the cruise was a perfect outing to end a week long conference and a chance to relax and enjoy a nice evening with friends. I will would recommend Gateway Cruise Fleet for your river adventure. They know what they are doing and they will take care of you.

This was the second time we have done this for our class reunion. We chartered a bus both times to transport our classmates to the Pittsburgh Gateway Clipper. The food, service and cruise experience was excellent. Pittsburgh is a great city to see by river cruise. Kenny was our service provider on the boat and he was excellent! When I worked in Pittsburgh we would book an entire Gateway River boat for our customers. It always went over very well with them and was greatly appreciated. Don't miss out on the opportunity to take this riverboat journey as it is one of the highlights and the very best way to see this spectacular city!

For the third year in a row, we have used the Gateway Clipper Barbeque & Ribs cruise as one of our company events. We took advantage of a Buddy Pass special which made the cruise an excellent value. We will attend again even without the discount. The food and service was great, not to mention the beautiful view of Pittsburgh from the boat. It's a great way to show someone our city!

I booked a birthday party on the ice cream social cruise on June 26th. I booked the party in march and made my final payment 30 days before the event. Every person I spoke to was very friendly and helpful! When we got there the party host immediately introduced herself and was easy to locate through out the event. All requests were met with a kind and friendly manner and we were never made to feel like we were bothering anyone. When we booked the cruise there was a magic show scheduled but it was changed to a galactic super hero event with characters from star wars. They were friendly, approachable, and a lot of fun! They were respectful of the little guests who were scared of their costumes which made the experience enjoyable for all who attended. To say we had fun and enjoyed our event is an understatement!!

We were amazed at the level of professionalism and attention to detail that the staff put into this event! We were assigned a table number which we were given upon giving our reservation. There was a 1 hour wait from boarding time to the time we depart and start our meal. During this time, we ordered drinks and appetizers. The cruise departed at 7:00 pm and the meal was started within 5-10 minutes. It was a buffet and we were released table by table to go through the line. The food was hot and delicious and there was plenty of it!! You were welcome to go back for 2nds but we were too full to do that. After the meal, you could go up to the top level and watch the city as you cruise the 3 rivers. It was such a beautiful night and felt magical with the lights and the music. We will definitely do this again!
