My brother and sister in law had their reception aboard the Majestic in April of 2010- It was a wonderful event, the food was delicious, boat spectacular & crew accommodating. I highly recommend hosting your reception on of of the Gateway Clipper Riverboats!

Our Grand daughter’s wedding reception was May 19, 2012 on the Princess. What a fabulous party! The buffet, cake cutting and dancing were all on the first level where my husband, the brides Grandfather, who is confined to a wheel chair could be part of everything. Everyone had nothing but good to say about everything. Those who didn’t wish to dance or be close to the loud music could go up to the top deck and enjoy the sites of the city by daylight and then enjoy the lights after dark as we cruised the rivers. I would highly recommend it to anyone planning a party.

Thank you really doesn’t even come close to telling you how incredibly appreciative we are for our beautiful wedding reception on the Princess on June 9th. So many things about wedding planning are complicated but Ashley really took care of everything and made sure that our wedding reception on the Gateway Clipper wasn’t on our list of worries. She answered my countless e-mails and phone calls (at least once per day for about 18 months) right away, and assured us that everything was taken care of. Everything went perfectly, and our guests can’t stop raving about the reception. Chache was amazing- a dj can make or break a party, and he definitely made sure everyone had a blast and there was never a dull moment. The crew and wait staff were great as well and always accommodating, and made sure that the groom and I were able to eat a BIG plate of dinner, which by the way, our guests keep saying was “the best food at a wedding we’ve ever tasted.” From Ashley and 2 young men waiting for us with a truck bright and early to set up Friday morning, to the staff helping us box everything up quickly and get it all packed up into the car again at the end of the night- from start to finish, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience, or more helpful and attentive staff. Thank you a thousand times again to everyone. We’ll always be so grateful for your help on this special day.

Our ceremony on the Princess was everything that we could have dreamed of and more! Being that this was not a traditional church wedding, I was not sure what to expect but everything turned out beautifully, thanks to Ashley and Captain Mike Graham who married us. We even to choose a script of the ceremony before hand and were able to adapt it slightly to fit our tastes which we appreciated. (but we didn’t need to make very many edits)

We received multiple compliments from our guests about the ceremony, including the groom’s mother who updated her Facebook status the next day stating “This was the best wedding I have ever attended in my lifetime”. Note that she has 2 daughters who had wedding before this. A bold statement!

I just got married August 2012 and had a great time. The Gateway Clipper is a great place for a wedding reception. The planning process is very efficient and they make sure that every last detail is thought of and accounted for. The only downside was that I was from out of town and was unable to meet with the wedding coordinator in person. We had scheduled a meeting but she cancelled. It would have given me piece of mind to have met with her in person but we were able to do all the remaining coordination over the phone and the event went off without any problems. I ordered off the Allegheny buffet and the food was so delicious. The DJ and cake which was also provided from the Gateway Clipper were both really good as well. Overall, I would recommend the Gateway Clipper for all brides that want to ensure they get the whole package in one place and want an evening that will be memorable for their guests.

My husband and I were married August 4, 2012. We were scheduled to have our wedding on the Princess Clipper and received a complimentary upgrade to the Empress because it was available. Our wedding coordinator was most helpful throughout the entire process and made the wedding planning as stress free as wedding planning can be. Our cruise director was calm, cool and collected and managed a near crisis as I forgot to have the champagne delivered. She was quick to resolve the issue and we worked out the details after the wedding. All our guests were very impressed with our unique wedding venue. I would HIGHLY recommend the clipper to any other brides who are looking for a unique venue, amazing wedding planning service, and fun party!
