The Gateway Clipper Fleet is America's premier riverboat excursion operation! Cruises sail 365 days

a year from our dock at Historic Station Square, on the southern bank of the Monongahela River in Downtown Pittsburgh. Our five riverboats are fully equipped, staffed and climate-controlled for your comfort all year long.

All of our riverboats are inspected and certified by the United States Coast Guard.

The Management and Staff of the Gateway Clipper Fleet wants to insure that your experience aboard oneof our riverboats is a pleasant and stress-free outing on the three rivers. With this in mind, please

let us share the following suggestions and policies with you:

We recommend that you arrive for your scheduled cruise at least 30 minutes before cruise departure.

Please allow extra time if you need to pickup tickets at the ticket office.

PARKING:

Parking is available at all Station Square Parking Lots; however, we recommend that you park in the West Parking Lot or the Parking Garage.  Please remember that the Gateway Clipper Fleet does not control parking at Station Square. Be advised that lot attendants may direct traffic to any available lot at their

discretion.  Again, we advise that you arrive for your cruise early to avoid any parking issues.

AGE REQUIREMENTS:

There are no age restrictions for passengers aboard any public dining or sightseeing cruise. We ask that all children under the age of 16 be accompanied and supervised by an adult while on board.  On dance or concert cruises that serve alcohol, all passengers must be 21 years of age and must show valid photo identification.

ALCOHOL POLICY:

Passengers under the age of 21 will not be served alcohol.  All passengers consuming alcohol are required to have valid photo identification.  The Gateway Clipper reserves the right to prohibit the serving of alcohol to any individual who appears intoxicated or to any passenger the cruise director deems may create a danger to themselves or others.

SEATING POLICY:

Preferred Seating is available on selected dining cruises for an additional fee.  There is no preferred seating on any sightseeing or dance/concert cruises.

SPECIAL NEEDS:

To assure the highest quality experience, it is very important to know of any guests that have a disability that will require specific seating arrangements.  Please inform your sales reservationist of any such needs or concerns.

CREDIT CARDS:

All meal cruises offer buffet service and a cash bar for soft drinks, mixed drinks, beer and wine.  All major credit cards are accepted.

GRATUITY SERVICE:

A service charge is included in the ticket price and covers gratuity on the food portion of the ticket price.  It does not include any gratuity on beverages purchased on the vessel or any outstanding personal service provided

by your server.

VESSEL GUARANTEE:

The Gateway Clipper does not guarantee a specific vessel for any cruise and reserves the right to move the cruise to another vessel without prior notification.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

The Gateway Clipper reserves the rights to change the time, cancel, or reschedule the date of a cruise.  Also note that we will not sail in the rare event the rivers are declared unsafe by the U.S. Coast Guard.  If cancelled, we will contact you to make other arrangements.

SMOKING POLICY:

Smoking is restricted to the outside decks only.

DRESS CODE:

Since we offer a variety of cruises, we do not have a specific dress code.  For evening cruises, appropriate attire is business casual to dressy.  Men traditionally wear slacks and sport coats with or without ties.  Women wear dresses or nice pants.  We do not recommend T-shirts, jeans, shorts or sneakers in the evening.  Afternoon cruises are generally more relaxed and casual attire is fine.  While our boats are climate-controlled, you may want to venture out on our outer decks, so please keep in mind the season and dress accordingly.

COAST GUARD REGULATIONS:

All of our vessels are inspected and certified by the U.S. Coast Guard and must operate in compliance with the Marine Transportation Security Act of 2002.

SAFETY:

For your safety, the Gateway Clipper Fleet reserves the right to search all passengers and baggage.  We also reserve the right to add uniformed security to any cruise that we deem necessary.
